Your Website. Your Way. Your Money. Part II

It just keeps happening! Printer Presence keeps finding ways to nickel and dime their customers to death. I guess I should congratulate them for finding ways to so effectively take their customers’ hard-earned money, but I sure couldn’t do that with a straight face. This time a Printer Presence customer (who will most certainly be making the switch from PrinterPresence.com to WebsitesForPrinters.com) sent me the following text from their support documents (I added the red color to the text):

What is the maximum size of a file that can be transferred through the website?

The maximum size of a file transfer is 100 MB. This would be inclusive of all the files being transferred in one upload. For instance, if you provide five file transfer buttons on your website’s form, the total size of the files your customer is trying to upload/transfer at one time could NOT exceed 100 MB.

We do offer an upgrade to 200 MB file transfer capability. If you are interested in this option, please contact the Support Services team.

So there you have it. The ol’ sucker punch at work again.

By contrast, WebsitesForPrinters.com allows gigabytes upon gigabytes to be transferred. Read this!!!
