Two Great Finds

I am so excited about two recent discoveries. Perhaps “discoveries” is the wrong way to describe these finds because they’ve been discovered before. However, both of these finds have all of a sudden been placed into my hands, and I’m very excited about that!

First, I have discovered that every episode of the Dick Van Dyke show is freely available at hulu.com! I don’t remember the first time I watched this show … but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with it. What I love the most is that the show is filled with laugh-out-loud humor that doesn’t rely on cheap jokes laced with all kinds of innuendo. It’s good clean humor at it’s best! Everyone in this show absolutely plays their part to perfection. While I’ve always known I could purchase the complete set on DVD I just never have done so because I didn’t ever imagine having the time to sit down and watch the shows. But now I can … at my leisure! Thanks Hulu!

Second, I have ordered one of the best biblical teaching series I have ever heard. It’s titledĀ Revelation – Unveiling the End, by Chuck Swindoll. I have heard most of this series before via radio and podcast, but it was in bits and pieces and I never quite made it to the end. I never had the opportunity to put it all together, but now I will because I’ve ordered this series on CD! (It’s on sale until March 30, 2009.) This one’s going to quickly find its way into my iPod and I’ll start working my way through this series again from top to bottom. When the weather warms up I’ll be able to bike to and from work again which will provide plenty of listening time.

WebsitesForPrinters.com Client Mentioned in Canadian Printer Magazine

WebsitesForPrinters.com picked up a nice mention in Canadian Printer magazine as part of a story on one of our clients.

The story, No Waiting Till Tomorrow, is a great profile on Emily Lai of BCT Toronto. Emily and her staff had many good things to say. If I had to narrow it down to one favorite take-away, here it is:

She reveals that the company has been able to sign up a lot of new dealers simply because of the Web presence. Since going online she can identify a definite increase in business.

Congratulations Emily and BCT Toronto on getting some great press!

What’s your share?

Did you ever take time to do the math? Take the $787 Billion government stimulus spending package, divide it by the 303 million or so residents of the United States, and you get … (insert drum roll here) …

$2600 per person!

So … take $2600 and multiply by the number of people in your family, and include that amount with your tax returns this year. Enjoy your recovery!
