Your website. Your way. Your Money.

I would like to suggest that Printer Presence (the competitor we go up against most often) change one of their taglines. They used it at Graph Expo, and it’s all over PrinterPresence.com too. The tagline says:

Your website. Your way.

Once again I heard from another customer of Printer Presence that’s preparing to switch to us how they nickel-and-dime their customers to death! For that reason, I’d like to suggest that Printer Presence revise their tagline to say:

Your website. Your way. Your money.

I know the soon-to-be customer that’s making the switch from Printer Presence to WebsitesForPrinters.com seemed to get a good laugh out of it!

Great Press from Graph Expo 2007!

We’re getting great followup press from Graph Expo 2007! Barbara Pellow from InfoTrends says:

While some service providers wonder how to develop e-commerce capability, websitesforprinters.com talked to printers about how they could develop affordable e-commerce Web sites for commercial printers in the U.S., Canada, and worldwide. The Web sites enable print buyers to request estimates, place orders, send files, and manage frequently-ordered materials in a secure, online format. Additional features include integrated inventory management, a virtual PDF print driver, secure document libraries, integrated online proofing, and easy reordering.

The complete write-up is worth a read, it can be found here:

I Quit!!!

GraphExpo 2007 Day Two brought another day of non-stop action at the WebsitesForPrinters.com booth. The traffic just didn’t let up at all! We have lots of customers that are passionate about their websites, but two in particular have really made GraphExpo a lot of fun.

Customer #1 has stopped by our booth probably no less than seven times over the last two days. Every time he’s there he just starts chiming in with the presentation, telling the prospect how valuable WebsitesForPrinters.com is for him. The
best part for me was when I looked down to the other end of the booth and there he was running the computer for the prospect! All we had to do was step away and let him go! He’s incredible!!!

Same thing with Customer #2 … I was about 2/3 of the way through a presentation when he just took over the conversation, basically telling the prospect to stop wasting his time, quit looking at anything else, and get set up with us. Over and over again, the good news just kept pouring out.

So…I quit! Our customers are a much better sales team than I could ever be!

GraphExpo 2007 Off to a Great Start!

Wow, what a great opening to GraphExpo for WebsitesForPrinters.com! From the moment the show opened we were doing demos non-stop! Andy and Carl did great with everything, and we literally spent the whole day doing demos. We could have easily used another computer setup and another one or two people in our booth.

We were also awarded a “Worth a Look” award and proudly displayed the award in our booth. And our booth was highly complimented … I was pleasantly surprised at the number of people that commented on how attractive our booth was.

Karla and Melissa did great on the Ink Inc. side too. When all is said and done, the day was a rousing success! More fun tomorrow!!!

WebsitesForPrinters.com Wins a “Worth-a-Look” Award

WebsitesForPrinters.com was awarded a “Worth a Look” for our entry in the Graph Expo “Must See ‘Em” product recognition program. The “Worth a Look” is essentially a niche-market Must See ‘Em. It appears that most of the Must See ‘Ems went to the big boys, so I feel honored to have received recognition!

Details here:
http://www.mustseeems.com/mustsee07.pdf

That document says “Must See ‘ems and their companion Worth-a-Look products were selected from the almost 6,600 individual products being shown at Graph Expo 2007 by over 650 exhibitors.” It’s great to be able to display the “Worth a Look” award in our booth!
